In September of 1972 Jim Croce released a song titled, “I Got a Name.” Unfortunately, more people didn’t get to know his music and his name because he died in an aviation accident the following year. The song, however, lives on to lift up the importance of a person’s name.
Wearing a name tag indicates that you are a member or close friend of St. John’s. If you're wearing a nametag, other people know right away that you know your way around. Nametags help other people to know your name. If a person is a visitor, then they can ask you by name for help. Nametags can improve communication between people because people are more engaged in a conversation if they address each other by name. These are just a few reasons why wearing our name tag is a good idea.
We're asking everyone to wear their name tag on March 29th. Anyone who has misplaced theirs can come back to Fellowship hall after the service on the 29th and order a replacement.
