Spring is just around the corner. The date for the walking rally has been set and we are now accepting registrations for teams to participate. The rally will begin and end at the Egypt Memorial Park on Saturday May 15 starting at 1:00 p.m. (rain date Saturday May 22). In small teams of
2-4 people (size at your discretion) you will follow a series of directions to navigate the course while looking for answers to approximately 30 questions. The course is approximately ¾ mile in length, mostly on sidewalk, and should take approximately 90 minutes to complete. You will be asked to answer questions based on what you can observe from the sidewalks along the way. Some are straightforward and some will require a little thought.
Each group will be assigned a starting time sequentially as they declare their intention to participate. Starting times will stagger at 10-minute intervals. Masks will be required to be worn while you register and when you approach the completion but wearing them while navigating the course will be at the group’s discretion or in accordance with CDC guidelines at that time. Each participant will be asked to provide a minimum donation of $10. The group with the most correct answers will be given the opportunity to decide which church account the proceeds are to be assigned. Church membership is not required to participate.
If you are available that day and want a challenge to take with your friends or family, gather your team and call or email Don Lerch (484-523-4755 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to register.
