Our worship service is a spirited traditional service. We are an excellent singing church with a talented organist and choir leader. The service is projected on the wall for all to follow along. We also have hymnals for those who like to sing the different parts. For a sample sermon please click on the worship tab and scroll down to the sermon library. The service usually lasts about an hour.

Our congregation varies in dress. Some are in their Sunday best and others are more casual. Wear whatever helps you to worship.
-
We encourage children to participate in worship and it is okay if they add to the worship with the occasional cry, coo, or exclamation. We usually have a children’s message during worship. If you become uncomfortable with your child in worship and feel that he or she needs a break, you may take him or her to our Family Room located immediately behind the sanctuary. In the Family Room you will find some toys, books, and puzzles. The bathrooms have changing stations. You can also receive communion in the Family Room.
-
Before worship we invite you to take a look around at the cross and the various windows. You can preview the bulletin and the announcements. You may feel free to greet others. When the service commences, we will begin with a welcome and announcements. Announcements, hymns, and other pertinent information is printed in the bulletin and also projected on the front and back walls. Following the announcements there will be a prelude with time to focus our thoughts on worship. Hearing assist devices and large print bulletins/hymnals are available.

We celebrate Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month, as well as at special services such as Easter. We bring the elements to you on a tray while you remain seated. We welcome all followers of Jesus Christ to take part in communion. It is our tradition to offer communion to those who have been baptized and confirmed or baptized as an adult.

We find unity as members of the body of Christ. We find mission in the call to follow Christ. We listen for God’s Still Speaking Word through the Bible. For more on the UCC – go to www.UCC.org
